Jeremy Rabson

Jeremy is an Executive Advisor to Silver Ridge and leads Marketing for SANS Institute, the global leader in cybersecurity training and research. He has more than 25 years of experience in strategy consulting, new product and venture development, investments, acquisitions and market research. He has worked with companies of all sizes, from startups through Fortune 500, that value his experience as both an entrepreneur and a senior executive. Jeremy has served clients in financial services, healthcare, consumer products, retail, web based services, industrials and private equity.

Previously, Jeremy was SVP, Head of Strategy and Chief Product Officer at Eastern Bank, a rapidly growing regional bank in New England. Earlier, he was a member of the executive team at The First Marblehead Corporation where he ran Strategy, Corporate Development and Market Research. As Head of Strategy, he created the company’s diversification programs to face the 2008 global financial collapse.

Before joining First Marblehead, Jeremy was Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Capital One. He oversaw the corporate market intelligence team and ran multiple engagements focusing on credit card strategy, new product ventures, acquisitions and customer experience. He was a primary strategist behind the launch of Capital One prepaid cards and was the inventor on the patent application: “System and method for managing related accounts.”

Earlier in his career, Jeremy was a Vice President at, responsible for business development and E-Commerce. He was also an Associate Consultant with Corporate Decisions, Inc. (now Oliver-Wyman), where he focused on customer-driven growth strategies and specialized in mutual funds, retail market research, and acquisitions in the consumer products industry.

Mr. Rabson graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Yale University with a BA in history and has an MBA from Stanford.
