Mark has been a senior advisor, investor, and partner to Fortune 500 and mid-size companies for more than 30 years. His work has focused on increasing shareholder value and growth by building customer-focused strategies, leading product and service innovation, harnessing big data to increase sales and customer retention, and aligning operations with strategy.

Mark’s expertise includes executive leadership, financial management, strategy development and implementation, M&A, private equity investing, cost management, performance improvement, omni-channel development and management, e-commerce leadership and new business venture incubation. Mark founded Organic Growth Partners (OGP), a strategic consulting firm, and led high-profile growth strategy and transformation efforts, seamlessly assuming C-level roles and revitalizing teams for banks, restaurants, retailers, business services companies, insurance brokers, information technology companies and nonprofits.

Before launching OGP, Mark was a managing director in a closely held, middle market private equity firm where he led investments in financial services, business services and energy exploration and development companies. This followed senior executive posts at Bank of America in Consumer/Small Business eCommerce, Internet Banking, Channel Strategy and Development, and Small Business/Middle Market Commercial Banking. His online banking strategy vision resulted in the company achieving the #1 position in online banking with a 50% reduction in consumer attrition rates.

Prior to B of A, Mark was a senior partner at Mercer Management Consulting and Strategic Planning Associates (now Oliver Wyman). He was the lead partner for assignments with prominent financial institutions in the banking, credit card, payments, insurance, investment management and securities brokerage sectors and built one of the largest financial services practices in the management consulting industry.

Mark received an A.B. in Social Change from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
