With a career spanning executive roles at startups and global Fortune 100 companies, Leigh has honed her expertise in driving revenue growth, fostering innovation, leading business transformation, and finding growth via organic and acquired methods.
Leigh’s travel and hospitality career includes a senior executive position as SVP Global Digital at Marriott International, where she played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s digital ecosystem into a mobile-first, omni-channel customer experience, resulting in substantial revenue growth and enhanced customer engagement. With a team of over 400 product and marketing FTEs globally, and thousands of engineering and consulting partners, Marriott’s digital apps and websites grew to $25B in direct revenue and room nights, the largest channel at the company. Her team also led the way through COVID-19 via innovations in building a contactless experience during the height of the health crisis.
Leigh also served as the Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer at Amazon’s Audible Inc., where she had responsibility for the company’s product strategy and pricing, customer experience, lifecycle management, marketing technology and merchandising globally, while also being accountable for the US P&L. Under her leadership, Audible achieved significant revenue growth despite market headwinds and new product strategies have proven critical in the evolving competitive landscape.
More recently, as a Senior Advisor and Angel Investor at Lewis Asset Management, Leigh provides invaluable guidance to startup CEOs on business strategy, product-market fit, and fundraising efforts. With a portfolio spanning diverse industries including travel, hospitality, sports and retail, Leigh works with businesses like @Hotel (Tripscout), Folio Travel, 1953 Tequila, Portfolio Pilot, CoachIQ and Fashionkind.
With previous positions at AOL Inc., The Walt Disney Company, IAC InterActiveCorp, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, KPMG, and Bain & Company, Leigh brings a wealth of strategic planning, digital customer product management, and operational expertise to the table. Her accomplishments range from pioneering new business ventures to executing multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, all underscored by a relentless commitment to data, customer insights and innovation.
Leigh is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter and 2 fur babies.
