Iain is a senior operations, technology and program management leader with more than 20 years of experience in business transformation. He specializes in helping companies optimize their end-to-end business flows and operational processes to improve performance and scalability. Iain has worked with companies of all sizes, from smaller startups to large global enterprises, collaborating across business functions to develop integrated operating plans with aligned interests. Iain is a Managing Director at Silver Ridge Advisors and a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, retained for deep subject matter expertise in business operations and transformation.
Previously, he was COO and Trading Operations Lead at the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, where he was responsible for trading operations and establishing a back office product development capability. Earlier, he was at Royal Bank of Scotland (formerly Greenwich Capital Markets), where he was most recently Managing Director and Head of Change Management for the Global Banking and Markets division in North America. In this capacity he managed a $75 million annual change agenda, including a 250-person PMO function across multiple locations.
Prior to RBS, he worked at JPMorganChase with the interest rates swaps middle office. Iain started his career as an Electronic Engineer, working for Racal Electronics in the UK designing hardware and software for military communications.
Iain has a Master’s of Engineering (MEng) and a Bachelor’s of Engineering (BEng) Class 1 with Honors from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
