Daryl Twitchell

Daryl is the Founder and Managing Partner of Silver Ridge Advisors (SRA), an elite management consultancy started in 2008 with clients across the world. He has over 25 years of experience in strategy consulting, analytics, new product development, marketing strategy, business innovation, HR and organizational design, start-ups, corporate M&A, PE / VC and investment management. His clients span media and entertainment, consumer products, retail and restaurants, digital technology, financial services, manufacturing, industrials, education and healthcare, and he has worked with many private equity and VC funds.

Before founding Silver Ridge, Daryl was Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, responsible for leading strategic acquisitions, minority investments and start-ups for the Investment Management Division. Prior to Lehman, he was a Principal at two venture capital firms, Ameriquest Capital and FrontLine Capital, focused on growth equity investments in financial, business services and technology companies.

Earlier, he was Vice President and Global Head of Marketing at Citigroup Alternative Investments, where he managed product development, marketing, investor relations and sales activities globally. He was also the unit’s Relationship Manager to The Citigroup Private Bank, serving as the point person for private client sales and service.

Before Citi, Daryl was Director of the Strategic Planning Group (SPG) at American Express, responsible for building new businesses including one of the first online banks, Membership B@nking (now part of Ameriprise). He was also Director of Interactive Investments, a strategic venture group, and New Product Development, an incubator of new services. Prior to American Express, he was an Associate Consultant with Corporate Decisions, Inc. (CDI, now Oliver Wyman), where he focused on customer-driven growth strategies.

Daryl graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with an A.B. in International Relations & History and has an M.B.A. from Yale University. He is a published author of Management Consulting (Wiley) and is a regular columnist on HuffPost.
